Foreman

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to effectively and efficiently lead a team of installers.

OBJECTIVES

  • High understanding and passion for the direction of the company, its employees and its culture
  • Effectively coordinate and manage installation of assigned projects
  • Equip installers with the best tools, equipment and information to complete the assigned project
  • Effectively communicate with installers
  • Legal documentation to work
  • Responsible for field training new installers and other foremen
  • Ability to contribute to the development of, implement and alter:
    • processes
    • sub processes
    • procedures
    • job duties
    • job qualifications and
    • job descriptions at any time
  • Fairly conduct evaluations, probations and terminations resulting in wage fluctuations
  • Flexible and able to balance employee desires with business need

  • Attends additional leadership training
  • Must be reachable during and outside of normal business hours
  • Attend Foreman’s Meetings as scheduled
  • Ability to interface with Clients and Contractors

ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Experience with Google platforms, Microsoft Office and other software
  • Can obtain credentials to work government entities
  • Excel in mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy
  • Related construction, installation, and management experience
  • Proven ability to effectively perform under pressure.
  • OSHA 30 Certified

Account Manager

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to effectively and efficiently manage/grow an assigned territory of general contractors and accounts.

OBJECTIVES

  • Maintain/Develop relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Search for projects with in your accounts/vertical market
    • Qualify and Prepare opportunities for the bid process
    • Perform takeoff and draft quote to submit to estimating
    • Send proposals to your accounts
  • Follow up on bids, obtain feedback and close opportunities
  • Review contracts received for addenda, amounts and turn into Accounting for processing.
  • Attend scope review meetings with clients
  • Provide solutions for accounts and help address budget / VE options to win business
  • Meet with Pre-Sale Manager regularly to review sales goals and activity.
  • Keep a calendar for scheduled events and meetings
  • Turnover closed won opportunities as projects to the Production Team
    • Set up and execute turnover meeting
    • Review submittals
    • Coordinate with accounts throughout project to ensure quality experience

Installer

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor to install Architectural Fabrication’s pre-manufactured products on our clients’ job sites using safe & efficient methods.

OBJECTIVES

  • In interactions with customers and co-workers, maintain a positive attitude and high level of dependability and integrity.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines. Work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Read blueprints, identify and prepare materials and supplies for install.
  • Safely transport materials to install sites on company vehicles and unload finished materials and equipment.
  • Maintain driver’s license.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift 75 or more pounds frequently throughout the day.
  • Install awnings, sunshades, canopies per drawings and specifications.
  • Use the following equipment: scaffolding, elevated platforms, scissor lifts, ladders, and bucket or crane trucks.
  • Perform quality assurance post-production and post installation.
  • Effectively communicate onsite conditions to project management office.
  • Must be available for out of town, overnight work

EQUIPMENT

  • Tools required (not limited to): Tape measure, level, square, pliers, hammer, sockets
  • Tools provided through company lease: hand drill, impact driver and other necessary power tools
  • PPE to be issue by company: hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, and gloves
  • Become proficient in use of: forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, crank lift, tow trailer, saws, hammer drills, grinders, etc.

Project Manager

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to organize and coordinate Architectural Fabrication’s projects for our clients using effective and efficient methods.

OBJECTIVES

  • Plan, organize and schedule activities to meet project objectives.
  • Ensures project details are well-documented and communicated to project personnel via the use of Salesforce.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Manage staff assigned to project.
  • Plan and staff project operations based on scope of work and timeline.
  • Coordinate subcontracted services as necessary.
  • Motivate and monitor the progress of work performed by project staff.
  • Respond to external requests for information.
  • Plan and participate in meetings, discussion groups and other types of events to promote project visibility, including: Turnover Meetings, Jobsite Meetings and Weekly Production Meetings.
  • Serve as primary resource for project information and resolve problems or questions referred by internal and external sources as needed.
  • Establish and maintain an active network of professional contacts.
  • Promote and maintain standards for safety awareness and behavior.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Assistant Project Manager

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative skills to assist in organizing and coordinating Architectural Fabrication’s projects for our clients using effective and efficient methods.

OBJECTIVES

  • Helps plan, organize and schedule activities to meet project objectives.
  • Ensures project details are well-documented and communicated to project personnel.
  • Develops and manages project budgets.
  • Assists in managing staff assigned to project.
  • Plans and staffs project operations based on scope of work and timeline.
  • Includes oversight of subcontracted services as necessary.
  • Motivates and monitors the progress of work performed by project staff.
  • Responds to external requests for information.
  • Plans and participates in meetings, discussion groups and other types of events to promote project visibility.
  • Serves as secondary resource for project information and resolves problems or questions referred by internal and external sources as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains an active network of professional contacts.
  • Promotes and maintains standards for safety conscious awareness and behavior.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
