It’s Been Fun, 2018!
This is my 24th blog coming to you from the leader in shade solutions. It’s fun for me to share the goings on at Arch-Fab and it’s hard to believe that we’re nearing another trip around the sun. This year has proven to be another year of incredible growth and success! For those out there that follow our journey, I hope you continue to be entertained and informed.
As we wrap up 2018 and put plans into action for 2019, I enjoy taking a moment to pause reflect to look back over the past year. It went fast and we’re proud of all that we’ve accomplished.
When we set out on 2018, we had lofty plans for another year of growth, so we initiated an employee referral incentive program. In 2018, we paid out tens of thousands of dollars to employees for referring qualified candidates that were hired on to help us honor our commitment to “keep meaningful promises to our clients.” Through that program, we added members to all areas of our company: project management, installation, fabrication, powder coating, purchasing, design, and sales.
We became a Registered Professional Engineering Firm, and we now have the capacity to perform engineering services in Texas and Louisiana. We are working towards being registered in Oklahoma and Tennessee, too!
We were awarded the patent for our Helios “bolt track” system, which empowers us to be a more responsive partner, and deliver “Cheaper, Better, AND Faster” to our clients.
We Had So Much Fun Growing this Year!
We met some talented architecture firms and deepened relationships with our existing partners. We had some fun outside of the office at client appreciation events. Our investment in continuing education opportunities will continue into 2019 for anyone wanting to learn more about Division 10 Exterior Sun Control. Our company also exhibited at the TxA Design Expo!
Our design and fabrication teams took a break from making canopies and sunshades to create a unique dog house inspired by a shipping container in support of the Dallas Bark + Build! That’s going to be one lucky pup!
With all of the growth and excitement, we still managed to have a little fun. We battled it out on the whirly ball court. We celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and hosted a couple of baby showers to welcome in the newest members of the Arch-Fab family. In addition to an office Halloween costume contest, we hosted an employee fall festival, complete with trick-or-treating and BBQ. There was some friendly inter-office competition with a health and fitness challenge, too. We survived a Texas summer with the help of sno cones from Kona Ice!
We worked hard, but we shared laughs along the way.
Plans have been finalized for our Arch-Fab Holiday party, but you’ll have to check back in January to hear more about that!
Our entire team has their sights set on a rockin’ 2019 and we’ve taken on some mammoth goals for the year ahead. I hope you’re following us on your favorite social media platform.
