Inc. magazine today revealed that Architectural Fabrication Inc. is No. 3451 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Under Armour, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“Making the Inc. 5000 list for the 6th consecutive year is an extraordinary achievement for Architectural Fabrication. The growth necessary to make this list is only attainable with the collaboration and effort that our employees put in every day. Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

More About Inc. and the Inc. 5000

Companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2017 to 2020. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017.

They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2020. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2017 is $100,000; the minimum for 2020 is $2 million.

Arch-Fab Continues to Grow & Expand

Four! That’s FOUR IN A ROW! Since our company’s inception in 1991, we’ve had a lot of things to celebrate. (If you haven’t checked out our past, be sure to read and watch our video on our About Us page) We’re in our third decade of business and we’ve come a long way. We started out as a small company with fewer than 25 employees, building and servicing signs and awnings.

In 23 years we’ve grown rapidly, expanding and shifting our focus from service work to actually manufacturing custom products with a talented team of over 100 individuals. We now design, engineer and manufacture custom extruded aluminum sunshades, commercial canopies, metal and fabric awning systems, trellises, walkway covers and more.

It wasn’t enough to just design and manufacture these products. We wanted to do it ALL from start to finish. Three years ago, we moved into our current 86,000 sq. ft facility in Fort Worth. We design, fabricate, finish, pack, ship and dispatch our installation teams from under one roof. We’ve invested in people and facilities for one reason alone: so that we can Make and Keep Meaningful Promises to our loyal, partner clients.

Our goal is to make projects seamless and easy and we’ve eliminated extra steps. We are built much like our general contractor partners with distinct Preconstruction and Operations teams that coordinate and manage projects from start to finish. We take pride in going the extra mile, not doing things halfway.

Summer is drawing to an end and the Arch-Fab team continues to work hard on all types of great projects! The past few months have been a scorcher and I think we’re all ready for some cooler weather! In the midst of all our hard work, we made time for a little fun, too! 

We added some new members to our team, we held our highly anticipated, not to be missed, 2nd annual Whirly Ball Tournament (double elimination brackets, seriously competitive stuff!), we threw a couple of baby showers, and we enjoyed the sweetness of snow cones.
