Customer had a new design for these hotels but did not have a specified model of sunshade for exterior sun control. The owner was looking for a lightweight modern design with straight lines and yet still provide the appropriate amount of sun control.

We provided a product made with aluminum components consisting of 6”x1” shutter blades & 10” outriggers. In this design the fascia is smaller than the outriggers which really gives this product a unique look. The anodized finish provided a good match to the window mullions.

The GC on this project was Byrd Building Services. We are excited about completing our first project with them and look forward completing more.

Located in Austin, TX Byrd Building Services has been in business for approximately 3 years. They operate in the commercial and office building, new construction business / industry within the construction / general contractors & operative builders sector. Byrd Building Services is estimated to generate $17 million in annual revenue and employs approximately 4 people at this single location.
