In our business, there’s nothing more important than communication! It’s the “secret sauce” to our ongoing success!

Our team is working hard behind the scenes!  Did you know that in addition to our monthly department meetings, executive team meetings, weekly production meetings, one on one ongoing employee development, daily JHA meetings for our install teams, and safety training, we also have a monthly, company-wide morning meeting where all 63 employees are in attendance?  With over 100 active projects requiring site-specific, custom fabrication, coating, and install or ship to site, we are only as awesome as our communications between departments.

Each day, we are working to live into our vision statement, “Architectural Fabrication will be the best shade solution company in the United States.” Our mission and purpose is to “become the best architectural shade solutions company in the world by consistently making decisions in accordance with our core values, and deliver quality shade solution products to commercial architects, contractors, and developers.”

Our family continues to experience remarkable growth and our monthly company meeting is the time where we can all come together to hear a clear message from our President, Jeff Kenny, and each of our Vice Presidents about what’s current in their departments. You’re sure to find fresh coffee, juice, and delicious donuts (but be there early, because the warm apple fritters go fast)!  It’s the place where we welcome new employees into the family, celebrate success stories, and implement new procedures that make us more efficient or keep us safe.  Along with our successes, we learn about opportunities for improvement.  The company meeting is also where we reward the hard work of a well deserving team player with our “Turnbuckle Award”.  (If you’re not sure what the Turnbuckle Award is, go back and check out January’s blog post.)
