The Project

This month, we’re proud to feature our work at the The Flats at Cypress Waters, where thoughtful design meets everyday comfort. This project was successfully brought to life in collaboration with Billingsley Construction and HLR Architects.

We installed 33 custom Standing Seam Awnings, stretching over 181 linear feet and covering 770 square feet. Designed with a 4’3″ slope and open ends, and supported by 66 sturdy braces, these awnings combine modern aesthetics with reliable protection.

Adding to the architectural appeal are four Titan Canopies, spanning 77 linear feet and 255 square feet. With strong 2″x6″ tubular frames and 12 overhead supports, these canopies offer both style and structural strength. The leasing canopy completes the project with a welcoming touch: 19 linear feet, 111 square feet of coverage, and a 6′ projection. Featuring a 4″ channel fascia, frosted corrugated polycarbonate infill, and a precision-framed structure, it makes a statement at the entrance.

With robust engineering and sophisticated powder-coated finishes, every feature at the Olympus Flats was thoughtfully created to ensure both beauty and functionality.

The Project

We’re excited to share one of our standout projects this season. Our Titan Canopy installation at Vista at Interpark, a contemporary development located in the heart of San Antonio Texas.

This project includes 34 Titan Canopies, expertly designed and fabricated by Architectural Fabrication, in collaboration with Gonzalez Newell Bender, Inc. and Atlantic Pacific Community Builders. Designed to deliver both performance and visual appeal, this installation spans 412 linear feet and 1,646 square feet. Supported by 68 overhead structures, each canopy is built with robust 2″ x 8″ tubular frames that provide both strength and a streamlined appearance. The architectural metal decking, finished in standard colors, was selected for its durability and its seamless integration with the project’s design.

Every detail of this build was thoughtfully executed, capturing the clean, modern lines of the canopy frame and built to endure the Texas climate. The result is a refined, functional addition that seamlessly enhances the surrounding architecture.

The Project

Integrated Real Estate Group, a distinguished property development and management company headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, sought to enhance The Watermere at Flower Mound, a retirement residence. They envisioned a project that combined functionality and aesthetics, ensuring a welcoming environment for the residents.

Integrated Real Estate Group required a range of architectural elements to achieve this vision, including Titan Canopies, Standing Seam Awnings, decorative brackets, and multiple Trellises (including cantilevered). The challenge lay in integrating these elements seamlessly into the design while meeting Integrated Real Estate Group’s high standards of quality and durability.

Arch-Fab took on the challenge by meticulously designing, fabricating, and installing the diverse range of products specified by Integrated Real Estate Group. Our team ensured each element met the specific requirements of the project and aligned with the overall architectural vision. The Titan Canopies provided both architectural appeal and weather protection, crafted from robust 6063 Aluminum Alloy.

The Standing Seam Awnings were carefully designed to contribute to the aesthetic plus offer functional shade. The three cantilevered Trellises offer shady spots to rest on the Wateremere’s walking trail, and the two additional Trellises on the property contribute to year-round enjoyment of the outdoor environment for residents. Bringing the entire building design together, the decorative brackets create a cohesive aesthetic across the campus.

Collaborating closely with Arrive Architecture Group, Arch-Fab successfully translated the vision of Integrated Real Estate Group into reality. Arrive Architecture Group, a firm committed to collaborative design and creating spaces that resonate with their purpose and surroundings, played a crucial role in shaping the architectural aspects of this project.

Their dedication to blending style with function ensured the final design not only met the client’s requirements but also added to the overall appeal and comfort of the retirement residence. The strong partnership was instrumental in delivering a project that exceeded expectations in both form and function.

The Project

The GC on this project was looking for a provider to fabricate and install over 30 aluminum canopies on a large multi-family project in Garland, Texas. Spring Valley Construction Company is a general contractor that is focused on creating an enjoyable experience. With over 4 decades of experience, they are proud to serve North Texas and have made a name for themselves in several market segments.

Architectural Fabrication designed, fabricated, and installed 34 Titan canopies and one Helios canopy with a dark bronze finish to create a cohesive look for the building. In addition to the canopies, 68 overhead supports were fabricated as well, both for structural integrity and a stunning look.

We were able to provide this as a turnkey solution and installation was in Garland, right in our backyard. While we’re happy to work all across the country, it is always a joy to do fantastic work in our home state and local market.

This project was created for OM Housing. OM Housing is an award-winning, full service real estate firm that develops, owns, and operates high-quality, eco-friendly multi-family communities across Texas.

With such a high standard set, it’s no wonder that the property at Lakeview Pointe was nominated and won the Dallas Business Journal Best Real Estate Deal in 2022.

In addition to that, Lakeview Pointe has also taken home finalist awards from the Dallas Builders Association | McSam Awards in three categories as well as a finalist in the prestigious National Association of Home Builders | Pillar of the Industry Award.
