Aide De Camp - 2023

Arch-Fab Leadership Development Program

“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”
– John F. Kennedy

Arch-Fab’s Annual “Aide De Camp” Leadership Development Program provides our emerging leaders the opportunity to advance their skill sets through external coaching, internal mentorship, and cross training in core business functions and processes.

In the United States Army, Aide De Camp appointees serve as confidential assistants to senior level officers, specifically general grade officers. This tour of duty typically lasts two years and exposes these officers to broader leadership roles and responsibilities.

The candidates selected from our application and interview panel process will spend the 2024 calendar year working with Jeff Cash, Arch-Fab’s CEO, to prioritize, plan and execute on a strategic objective within our business.

In the upcoming year, our efforts will be centered around improving Employee Engagement. We will study highly rated books written on this topic and incorporate external training at the Disney Institute to learn their approach to Employee Engagement, Quality Service and Leadership Excellence. Aide De Camp will utilize this new expertise to develop actionable plans to implement in our Employee Experience.

“Our employees are not just the foundation to everything we do at Arch-Fab, but are the reason why we do them. We will work as a team to evaluate the people, processes, and systems in each facet of our Employee Engagement strategy. Aide De Camp will deploy this new knowledge and experience to implement comprehensive improvements to our most valuable asset, our people.”

Architectural Fabrication proudly appoints Jeff Cash as CEO

Architectural Fabrication Inc. Appoints Jeffrey Cash CEO

Fort Worth, TX, Release: November 14, 2023.

Architectural Fabrication, a leading provider of innovative division 10 sun solutions, proudly announces the promotion of Jeff Cash to the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Having demonstrated exemplary leadership and an unwavering commitment to the company’s growth, Jeff Cash, formerly the President, will now spearhead the strategic direction and expansion efforts of Architectural Fabrication as the CEO. His extensive industry knowledge, paired with a proven track record in driving operational excellence, creating leaders, and fostering valuable relationships within the architectural and construction landscape, positions him ideally for this new role. He exemplifies our 5 core values.

The owner, Jeff Kenny, had this to say about Jeff Cash when he announced it to the company in late October at the company’s quarterly all-hands meeting and also their annual WhirlyBall day. “I have worked with Cash for 12 years and he is the best leader I have ever known. Please help me congratulate him on this deserved promotion, and let him know he has all of our faith. I am so proud of my friend and our leader as he continues to lead us into a great future.”

As CEO, Cash will focus on driving the company’s expansion into emerging markets and further define its position as a leader in the production of end-to-end architectural metals. He will continue to develop the leadership teams and solidify the company’s success.

This transition signifies an exciting chapter for Architectural Fabrication, marking a continuation of its purpose of “creating a place for people to thrive.”

Our ITB (Invitation To Bid) Process

Arch-Fab's Invitation to Bid Process

At Arch-Fab, we take great pride in providing end-to-end architectural metal solutions, but where do they start? With an Invitation To Bid (ITB)! Our Preconstruction Specialists are specially trained to review each ITB we receive and thoughtfully determine if we’re the right fit for the project. See how our process works.

Who is the Customer? | Invitation To Bid (ITB) Process

Who is the Customer?

When we receive an ITB, we evaluate the general contractor who submitted it, our history and relationship together as well as people we know in their business as we seek to determine alignment.

What Type of Project is it? | Invitation To Bid (ITB) Process

What Type of Project is it?

Next, we consider the vertical segment to ensure that we are undertaking projects that best align with our particular areas of expertise, allowing us to provide maximum value to our trade partners and their clients.

What is the Scope? | Invitation To Bid (ITB) Process

What is the Scope?

As a specialty solutions provider, it is crucial that we take the time to determine design intent by reviewing project plans and specifications. When we determine that we are specified on the project, that we’re capable of performing the project to our standards, and/or can add value by providing alternative solutions the client may not have considered, we proceed to the final step.

Where is the Project Located? | Invitation To Bid (ITB) Process

Where is the Project Located?

We provide solutions to our trade partners throughout the continental US, most often performing turnkey services (design, manufacturing, and installation) closer to home and “ship to site” when installation by our team isn’t required or feasible. Once again, our goal is to maximize value, and we are always happy to discuss how to do just that whether you’re right down the road, or halfway across the country!

If you are looking for a trusted partner for exterior sunshade or metal solutions, explore our products and learn more about us. If you think we are a good fit for your project, give us a call at 817.926.7270 or request a quote today!
